Vladimir Bogachev was born in Moscow. In 1986, he finished the Moscow state conservatory (in tbe class of the
national actor of the USSR Zurab Sotkilava). In 1985, he was accepted at the Bolshoi. During
1986 - 1989, he sang there.
During 1989-1994, he appeared at the Bolshoi as a guest.
Vladimir Bogachev was the winner of the International competition "Belcanto" in Brussels
(Grand prix in 1983).
In his first year at the Bolshoi, he sang 12 main
parts (a unique case in the history of the Bolshoi) in Russian and West-European operas. In 1986, with Elena
Obraztsova he sang Werther.
From 1989, he began his active international.
He has a repertory of about 30 main part, among them: José
Turiddu, Alfredo,Vodemon, Cavaradossi, Riccardo ("Ballo"), Almaviva,
Vladimir Igorevich ("Prince Igor"), Duke, Canio, Herman, Otello, etc.
Within 10 years Vladimir Bogachev's name appears on the posters of the largest opera houses of the world.
