Janos Halmos

December 27,1887 Arad - October7,1961 Budapest
Halmos made his debut at provincial theatres (Zombor, Miskolc), then in 1924 became member of the Városi Színház (City Theatre) and three years later of the Opera House Budapest, of which he became a member for life in 1950. His most important roles were: Otello, Bánk bán, Radames, Turiddu, Don José.
