Mihail Munteanu (Moldovan singer) was born on August 15 1943, in
Briceni. He is the son of Ion Muntean and Elizavet Muntean.
He married Rosentul Galina Andrian in 1969, and they had one son and one daughter.
Munteanu studied at the Kishinev Intitute of arts
and later at La Scala. Munteanu was a principal tenor at the Moldovan State Academy of Theatre of Opera and Ballet since 1971.

Radames, Turriddu, Otello, Canio, Manrico, Samson, Ismaele, José, Alvaro, and Pinkerton.
He went also on tour outside Moldovia singing Operas and appearing in concerts.
