Miltschinoff studied singing in Vienna. His career developed as follows:
Liegnitz 1940-1941
Breslau 1941-1942
Nürnberg 1942-1944
1947-1948 Theater am Gärtnerplatz München
1950-1956 Dresden and appearances at the Staatsoper Berlin and at the Metropol-Theater Berlin

Guest appearances in France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Yugoslavia and Austria.

Miltschinoff sang in concerts, on radio and made TV appearances.

His repertory included: Duca, Otello, Tannhäuser, Florestan, ...

He moved in 1956 to Vienna and made guest appearances in Operettas (such as Graf Erminio Saluzzo in Gasparone).

Since 1958, he taught singing at the Wiener Musikhochschule.
