Theodor Schütz real name was Bohdan Prochazka. He studied singing in Pivodove at Karl Kovarovoce. In 1899, he made his debut in Prague at the Folk theatre as Lohengrin. During 1902-1911, he sang in various Czech theatres. In 1911, he became the leading tenor at the Prague national opera. Among his operatic part were Tristan, Siegmund, Otello, and Radames. Schütz sang also in many Czech operas.
Vladimir Efimenko

Theodor Schütz (1878 - 1961) began his career as a baritone, then he sang heroic tenor roles. From 1911 he performed at The National Theatre in Prague. He had a sonorous voice with excellent high notes. His best roles were: Dalibor, Laca and Števa (Jenufa), Tristan, Siegmund, and Parsifal.
