Browning Mummery, born July 12th, 1892, Carlton/Australia; died March 16th, 1974. He made his debut with the Gonzales Opera Company in Australia in 1920; later, he sang primarily in Europe and North America. He was notably a Puccini singer (Rodolfo, Cavaradossi, Pinkerton), but at the same time a reknowned David in Meistersinger. He also made one film.
