Gino Sinimberghi.born August 26th, 1913, in Rome, he went to Germany soon after his debut. He was a member of the Staatsoper Berlin and sang also in Leipzig, Hamburg, Vienna, and Paris (Théatre des Champs-Elysées). Only in 1944, he returned to Italy, where he was successful in first theatres such as Rome, Venice, La Scala, or at the Caracalla festival in Rome. In 1950, he was Ferrando at the Glyndebourne festival. He made several films, also as a non-singing actor. He carried on his career well into the 1970s; in his late years, he would take comprimario parts.
