Carlo Zampighi (born in Galeata-Forlė-on 1927 and died on January 39th. 1997 at 69 in Galeata (Forlė)). Zampighi had a rather short career, but he was one of the most appreciated lirico-leggero of the 50s. He was a pupil of Lamberto Bergamini. His singing was orientated on an elegant "Schipa- style", whom Zampighi added a touch of youthful freshness. In my opinion, his 33 rpm LP of duets with Margherita Carosio, under Nino Sonzogno, is one of the best italian records of the 50's.
