Ryo-zo Okuda

Ryo-zo Okuda is a lyric tenor with a neat quality. he reminds Mr. Tanaka of Edmond Clement. No wonder, he, at first tried to learn from Clement himself, who turned down his request, writing back to him the fee might be too high. Instead, Clement introduced him to another teacher, to whom Mr Okuda went. His discography is much more less operatic than Fujiwara's, including many popular songs. There is also a 3-CD release of his anthology including mainly his popular repertory. It seems like there might have been another previous release of his records in CD format, which Mr. Tanaka does not have.
I would like to thank Mr. K. Tanaka for the Biographical Information
