Arvid Ödmann

Ödmann studied in Stockholm with Julius Gunther, Fritz Arlberg, and Ivar Hallstrom and Paris with Massenet.

He made his debut in 1873 as Tamino at Stockholm SRO.

His repertory included: Jean de Leyde, Huon, Ernesto, Gérald, Zéphoris, Roméo, José (first José in Sweden), Des Grieux, Werther, Pinkerton, Otello, Walther, Lensky, Rodolfo, Samson, Enzo, Fritz, Turiddu, Radames, Almaviva, Lohengrin, Ottavio, ...

He sang at the Stockholm SRO (1872, 1875-1887, 1889-1911), Cohengagen KGL (1887-89), ...

After retiring, he taught singing, one of his student was Arne Sunnegårdh.
